We're glad you're here!

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, at TC Tobacco you'll find a home for your sport, enthusiastic fellow players, and a close-knit community.

To help you get settled quickly, we've summarized the most important information for you in the Club ABC:

Annual membership fee
The membership fee is due upon joining the club and must be paid annually by March 31 at the latest.
You can find all the details in our membership fee policy.

Ball Machine
It is available to all adult members at any time, free of charge, for individual training. A safety briefing is required before first use. The balls may not be removed for casual play. Please treat this expensive equipment with care.

Behavior on the facility
Especially during league matches, please be considerate of the players’ concentration. Therefore, please avoid making phone calls, having loud conversations, or playing with children or dogs in the immediate vicinity of the field.

Children
Children of members and their guests are welcome at the facility. However, parents remain responsible for supervising their children. In addition, parents must ensure that their children follow certain rules of conduct so as not to disrupt play.

Clubhouse
We operate and maintain our tennis facilities ourselves. Everyone is asked to keep the clubhouse clean. Therefore: Clean your sand shoes before entering, rinse out the shower stall after showering, quickly wipe down the locker room, put away glasses, cups, cushions, etc., and close the doors.

Commitment
Our club thrives on everyone’s active participation. In addition to enjoying sports and games, this includes actively participating in events and tournaments, as well as helping to care for and maintain our tennis facilities.

Consumption
Various chilled beverages are available in the refrigerators in the clubhouse. Each time you take a beverage, please record it in the red beverage log under your name. Please don’t forget! You will settle the bill with the beverage manager later. See the notice board for prices.

Course Maintenance
Everyone wants to play on well-maintained courses, so please always follow the maintenance rules! Water the course before play, fill in holes, rake the greens, and clean the lines after play; leave the course clean. Please follow the course superintendent’s instructions.

Court Reservations
Outside of pre-reserved times (training, team matches, tournaments), all courts can be reserved through our courtbooking system. Reserved courts always take priority. This does not preclude flexible arrangements among players (e.g., swapping courts or playing doubles). Singles matches can be booked for 1 hour, and doubles matches for 2 hours. If the court is available, play may continue afterward.

Dogs
Dogs are permitted on the grounds under the following conditions: Dog owners are responsible for ensuring that their dog does not disturb others, that the dog relieves itself outside the grounds, and that it does not remain in the clubhouse or on the courts. The dog must be kept on a leash whenever a member requests it. Play equipment and other items must be put away.

Floodlights
Games under floodlights are permitted until 10:00 p.m. at the latest. A small donation to the piggy bank in the clubhouse is appreciated to help cover the investment and operating costs.

Guest Players
Members’ guests are welcome here. Before your match, reserve a court on CourtBooking (select “Play with a Guest”) and fill out a guest registration form (available at the clubhouse). Place the form and payment (10€) in the white mailbox at the clubhouse. Each guest may play up to 5 times per year.

Information
We regularly provide updates on dates, news, tournaments, and more through our TENNIS NEWS via email, the main WhatsApp group, and on our website: www.tc-tobacco.de. If you have any questions, please feel free to use the contact form or reach out to the board.

Key
Every member has free access to the entire tennis facility at all times. Each member will receive a key upon payment of a deposit. The key remains the property of the club and must be returned upon termination of membership. When leaving, please be sure to turn off the lights, close the windows, lower the patio blinds, and lock all doors.

Labor Service
Currently, we do not require community service or compensation payments. However, we do encourage you to help with general club tasks (e.g., spring cleaning, preparing the field).

Meet & Greet
To help new members feel at home, we host our popular “Meet & Greet”. Here, under guidance, new players in particular get to play with each other and get to know one another through the game. More experienced players are often there as well. Just stop by on Thursdays starting at 5 p.m.

Open Play
Typically, there are other players on the court, especially during practice times. In addition to making individual arrangements to play, we have various WhatsApp groups where anyone can express their desire to play, and others can then respond.

Teams
Participation in team play is open to and encouraged for anyone who is interested and capable. Women’s and men’s teams regularly participate in TVBB league matches (May/June), the mixed summer league (July/August), or the FVT recreational league (September).

Tournaments
We kick off the season with a ribbon tournament, followed by the Team Cup in the summer and possibly other tournaments. At the same time, we have our club league, which spans multiple seasons. The tournaments are generally open to non-members and are announced separately. We encourage everyone to participate actively.

Training
The teams have set practice times. In addition, our club coaches offer affordable individual or group training sessions for adults and teens/children.

Trial Session
Each member may conduct up to 3 free trial workouts with a prospective member. This must be reported to the board in advance and reserved online accordingly (partner status: "Trial workout registered").

Use of the Facility
Members may also use the facilities for personal purposes during the day. Use of the facilities with guests must be reported to the board in advance. However, guests may only use the courts on a guest basis and must pay the applicable fees. It goes without saying that the facilities and clubhouse must be left in a clean condition.
