Court Booking Rules

We want to make it possible for every member to play as often and for as long as possible. Our extended court situation should allow this. These rules are intended to allow for a fair distribution of courts. As in the past, it is of course possible to play longer on open courts; does not preclude flexible arrangements, a longer social stay on the facility is desired.

As a general rule, no game outside of training hours without prior court booking. Fair booking to all.

  • Bookings can be made online at https://vfv-spandau.courtbooking.de
  • Playing time is 60 min/ single or 120 min/ double including course maintenance
  • The names of all players must be entered
  • Advance bookings are limited to a total of 3 hours, of which 1 hour/day
  • If free, you can play longer after the game
  • Special rules for training with ball machine, guest or trial training as well as court maintenance
  • "Placeholder bookings" are unfair and inadmissible. If there is no actual training with a ball machine or if players do not show up, the booking expires and must be cancelled. A double, for example, must then be changed to a single booking.
  • In the event of repeated violations of these rules, sanctions may be imposed by the Board of Directors

Ball machine

  • As a special privilege, we make the expensive device available to all members free of charge. Careful handling should be a matter of course.
  • The use is only possible after prior instruction
  • Only adults can book. Under their instruction, young people can join in the training
  • All missed balls must be collected immediately without exception
  • These balls cannot be used outside the ball machine

Court maintenance

  • The places are clean and tidy to leave
  • When dry, the courts must be watered before each game
  • Close any holes immediately and flatten them
  • In addition to peeling off, the lines must be cleaned after the game
  • It is not possible to play on courts that are too wet
  • The instructions of the groundskeeper must be followed

Guest and Audition

  • As such, guest performances must be booked in advance (playing partner "guest"; max. 5/guest/season), violations of this are unfair and can be sanctioned
  • Fill out the guest performance sheet and put it in the white mailbox in the clubhouse (transfer the money or put it with the envelope into the white letter box)
  • Auditions with interested parties must be registered in advance with a board of directors allowance (playing partner "Probespiel genehmigt")
